Owned and operated by Osmund "Osmon" Brinkley and co-founded by master barber Al-Lateef Yancy, Alyoz Barbershop has been giving men, women, and children of the Greater Newark area the cut they're looking for — from clean fades and line-ups to braids and locs. Many of our clients drive past several other shops just to sit in our chairs.

The shop has become a real Newark fixture: a spot with a cozy, spacious feel, a big-screen TV, and conversation that keeps regulars coming back for a decade and more. Part of Kevin Hart's first movie, "Paper Soldiers," and a piece of the "Wu-Tang" series were even filmed right here. We keep it professional, family-friendly, and always fresh.
